Trust Compliance and Resources Officer

Hours:                   16-20 per week – term time only

Salary:                   Grade I (formerly band 10): £26,999 – £29,636 (starting pro rata actual: £9,964 (16 hrs) – £12,454 (20 hrs) pa)

Base:                      St Aidan’s CE High School, Harrogate

Start date:            September 2019

This is a significant appointment to the Central Services team of YCST. The postholder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to monitor compliance with legislative and policy requirements across the Trust, to include health and safety and data protection. Duties will also include supporting effective resource management across the organisation and policy review and development. The postholder will contribute as a member of the Central Services Team to ensure efficient and effective business support to the Trust.

YCST is a growing organisation which is currently focussed on 8 academies in and around Harrogate with plans to expand to at least one other North Yorkshire locality. Partnership working both internally and externally will be key to the role.

In our small team this is a key role which requires effective organisational and management skills in order to provide a high level of pro-active support across a range of areas.
