This is a new role to manage and be the point of contact for the day-to-day operation, administration and smooth running of our school hire and lettings, to include the Community lettings of our recently constructed 3G pitch. To provide additional support to the finance department at St Aidan’s CE High School and the wider trust (Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust).

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking bookings for the hire of the school premises and the administration and processing of all paperwork.

Starting in September 2022, our school requires a PE Technician/Cover Supervisor to support, as a Technician, its large PE department, providing a range of practical, technical and administrative duties, and as a Cover Supervisor to deliver lessons primarily in PE but also in other departments, that have been set by absent teaching staff for a variety of Year groups.  As mentioned above, some of the allocated PE Technician working time will involve hours outside of the normal school day, so a degree of flexibility is required.

Freelance Drum Kit Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in our highly valued Learning Support Department.

This is an extremely varied role assisting those students with Special Educational Needs.  Under the guidance of the Head of Learning Support, and the Classroom Teachers, you will be providing support for children with a variety of educational needs, enabling all of our students to thrive, both within, and outside of, the classroom.

Work will vary, enabling access to the curriculum within the classroom to students with SEND. Liaising with class teachers to support the management of pupil behaviour in lessons will also be of paramount importance.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school, facilitating learning through excellent teaching and support, and promoting a whole-child approach in terms of social and emotional development.  You will be involved in supporting individuals in classroom activities, on educational visits, and with IT, using specialist learning aids and physical equipment as appropriate.

Working with the Head of Learning Support and the Teaching Staff, you will contribute to annual review meetings, and liaise with relevant agencies and parents in a mutually beneficial and professional manner.  You will use your initiative, responding to situations as they arise, using your skills and experience to bring the very best out of our students with special educational needs.  You will likely be required to cover some lunch duties (with additional pay) or given alternative time to cover break duties on a rota basis.

Pannal Primary School

Classroom Assistants to support pupils with additional needs

The posts available include both part time and full time hours of GTA SEN work and some hours of lunchtime cover. These hours are being offered initially on a fixed term contract basis to August 2023. Posts will support children with learning needs and some associated challenging behaviours.
